Free Appraisal Clause - Diminished Value Review in the Pnw

pacific northwest: Oregon-Washington-Idaho total loss APPRAISER: PNW auto valuation dispute experts

The appraisal clause is a critical component of most insurance policies, providing a structured process for resolving disputes over the value of a claim. This clause is designed to protect Pacific Northwest policyholders and insurers alike by offering a fair and impartial mechanism for determining disputed loss amounts. When disagreements arise, invoking the appraisal clause allows both parties to appoint independent appraisers and, if necessary, an umpire to arrive at a binding resolution.

For Oregon policy holders, your insurance company must reimburse your reasonable appraisal costs if the Final Appraised Value is greater than the insurer's last offer. This also applies to umpire fees.

Our firm handles various Appraisal Clause claims. The most common Appraisal Clause claims involve "Actual Cash Value" (ACV) disputes when a vehicle is deemed a Total Loss. The Appraisal Clause also applies to repair-related disputes when a policy holder seeks cash out or vehicle repairs. With many insurers today using AI Technology and appraisers from outside of the United States to complete repair estimates based on photos, significant value differences can occur between these appraisals and those by trained local experts.

If your insurance company has declared your car a total loss, send us their market valuation for review. The IAS Claims Network’s experienced team can help policyholders resolve auto value disputes and work to maximize your claim settlement.

For Total Loss "Actual Cash Value" (ACV) and repair disputes, please submit the carrier's report for review along with any pertinent vehicle and claim information necessary for the appraiser assigned to your case. These documents can be sent directly via email to claims@iasclaimsnetwork.com.

Don’t leave your claim unresolved. Contact the IAS Claims Network team today for your free appraisal clause review. Together, we’ll protect your rights and achieve the resolution you deserve.

Diminished Value AUTO Expert: Oregon-Washington-Idaho

Diminished value, in the context of insurance, refers to the reduction in a vehicle's market value after an accident, even if the vehicle is repaired to its pre-accident condition. It is the loss of value due to the vehicle having a history of being in an accident, regardless of the quality of the repairs. This loss in value can affect the vehicle's resale or trade-in price.

Our team has been conducting DV Appraisals for insurance clients, attorneys, and the general public for over two decades. The methodology we use to determine Diminished Value has been adopted by other independent appraisers across the country. We have managed numerous Diminished Value claims over the years, including providing expert witness testimony.

If you have been in an accident that was not your fault, you might have a claim for DV.

Our industry leading DV reports start at $295.00. If you believe you have a claim for Diminished Value, please contact us, and a licensed adjuster will review your case free of charge.

After the vehicle repairs are completed, please email the repair estimate to claims@iasclaimsnetwork.com to check if you qualify for a DV claim.
